The 40-foot Mainsail features a main floor bedroom and rooftop deck. The tiny container home was built by Texas-based CargoHome and is a truly wonderful place to spend a night.

Made from a re-purposed shipping container, the exterior finish combines dark cedar siding with the original metal container. The rooftop deck is accessed by a spiral staircase and has metal safety railings with cables so you can still enjoy a view of the surroundings. LED lights under the top rail create a great evening ambiance.

Inside the Mainsail are pine ship lap walls and 100+ year old barn wood trim and beams.

In the kitchen you’ll find a beautiful barn wood accent wall, dark cabinets, epoxied barn wood countertops, and open barn wood shelves. There is also a breakfast bar with two bar stools and hand-spun copper pendant lights. The kitchen includes an under counter refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker.

Between the kitchen and living room is a dining table for two set in front of a window that overlooks a pond. In the living room is a sectional sofa and a TV cabinet that allows the TV to automatically slide down into the cabinet.

The main floor bedroom has a Tuft & Needle queen size mattress and a nightstand with lamp on each side of bed. Between the queen bed and an air mattress in the living room, the Mainsail can accommodate up to four people.

The bathroom has a full-size tile shower with glass door, flush toilet, and sink.
