This floating tiny home is the perfect choice for the nautical minded

Are you looking to escape the stresses of daily life? If you answered yes, then this solar-powered tiny house boat is your perfect off-grid escape. Built in Quebec, Canada by boat builders Daigno, this floating tiny home provides all the amenities needed for a comfortable life on the water for just over $60,000.

Daigno has many years of experience in the house boat industry but this particular structure is a little different. The Le Koroc model is specifically designed to be as lightweight and efficient as possible while maintaining all the necessary creature comforts. Built with laminated white cedar beams and a strong plywood skeleton this floating tiny home weighs just over 5,000 pounds.

At just 24 feet long and 8 feet wide, the Le Koroc is extremely compact and yet, the interior of the cabin is generously equipped. A cute bistro table is located in the kitchen, and just off this space is a compact bathroom complete with stand-up shower.

Round the back of the boat, the dinette table can fold out into a cozy bed frame, transforming the interior space into a cozy bedroom. Space-efficient storage is found throughout the tiny house.

The front of the boat makes up the main living space, a stunning deck perfect for passing the days with a bit of fishing or a favourite book. There is a dining table with seating for two for romantic dinners, a dedicated area for barbecuing, and even an integrated fish tank for storing the days catch.

The roof of the tiny house is equipped with solar panels that provide 265W of electricity and powers the boat’s lighting and refrigerator. LED lighting is throughout the tiny house provides an energy efficient light solution that, along with the units other sustainable features, provides an ideal home for the eco conscious buyer.
